Seven Card Stud Tips The first thing that you should know when you are starting to play Seven Card Stud online is some of the terminology used in the game. If you don’t know what is what chances are you are going to end up making a mistake. A High Card is anything from a ten through an Ace. Low cards are the cards from two through nine. A Split Pair is a starting hand with one of your pair cards that is showing and one that is hidden. A Concealed Pair is obviously a pair that are in your pocket that other players can’t see. Door Cards are the exposed up cards that are used to decide the start of the hand. Some of the best advice that you can ever get is to check when you can and fold only if you are bet into it, you should always take any free cards that you can get. When you start to play and you have a high pair you should fast play the other players to get as many of them out of the game as possible. Now on the other hand if you are playing with a draw hand you want to slow play so that you can keep the other players in the game to raise the pot size. If you have an amazing starting hand like triple cards you should play kind of slow until you get the fifth card, you want to keep other players in the game so that you can eventually end up winning a bigger pot. You should always try to study your opponents, if you pay attention to them long enough to be able to tell what they are going to do by the way that they play their cards this will give you a huge advantage over all of them. Find out if they play more hands or they fold more hands. If they fold almost all of the hands that they are dealt, then you know that they actually have a good hand when they keep one. You should also get caught bluffing once in a while, if you play on one simple plain then the other players you play with will be able to tell what you are going to do. So if you get caught bluffing every now and then you will be able to fool your opponents into bewilderment. They won’t be able to tell whether you are bluffing or if you actually have a good hand. One last thing that you need to know is that the first four cards you are dealt are your most important keys to winning at Seven-Card Stud. If you lay out what your plan should be and follow it to a tee you will be able to pretty much a strong favorite to win. If you get a good four card hand and play it very carefully you have a good chance of winning over other players.
