Volleyball and Poker Meet
Poker has joined forces with more active sports in California, where a
charity poker tournament is being held to raise money for the University
of San Francisco volleyball team. The event is being put on by the
friends and family of University of San Francisco volleyball, and will
be held at USF’s McLaren Hall on Sunday, March 5. The $50 entry fee will
buy you a chance to win payouts down to eighth place as well as other
prizes and cashouts, and includes drinks, pizza, and snacks.
Other prizes up for grabs in the tournament include a trip to anywhere
in the continental United States, a Napa Valley golf outing for four, an
annual membership to the Koret Gym and more. There will also be a silent
auction at the event, and a TV screen available for those who want to
watch the stars walk the red carpet and win their awards at the Oscars
show.
The event is limited to 50 people, so you need to get your tickets early
to guarantee a spot. There are also Table Sponsorships available to
promote your company at $150 a piece. A $20 re-buy is also a part of the
action, up until the third round.
Tickets become available at 12pm, Friday, March 3rd and can be purchased
at www.active.com. This is a great chance for poker players to come show
off their skills and help the Univeersity of San Francisco volleyball
team kick the season off right. A great time is guaranteed, so why not
come and try your luck for a chance to win some great prizes and help
the team?
